Understanding Space Deactivation
What it means when a Space is deactivated, what happens to your data, and how to bring it back online.
When a Space is deactivated it means your current plan no longer covers it — for example, after a downgrade or a payment issue. Deactivation is a paused state, not a deletion. Everything inside the Space is kept intact and waiting for you to bring it back online by upgrading your plan.
Why does a Space get deactivated?
A Space is deactivated automatically when your subscription plan no longer covers it. The most common triggers are: downgrading to a plan that supports fewer Spaces than you currently have, a failed or past-due payment, or the cancellation of a paid plan. In every case the goal is the same — to stop the automation on Spaces you are no longer paying for, without losing the work you've already put in.
Your data is safe — deactivation never deletes products, orders, integrations, price rules or settings.
What is preserved?
- All imported products, including titles, descriptions, images and variants
- All historical orders, even those that were already fulfilled by your suppliers
- Price rules, formulas and the connection to your default rule
- Supplier integrations (AliExpress, Temu, etc.) and OAuth credentials
- Store integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) and product mappings
- Space settings: locale, currency, country and team members
What is paused?
- New orders are not placed with your suppliers — incoming orders stay in a waiting state
- Price recalculation from your rules is paused, so selling prices stay frozen
- Automatic stock sync between your stores and suppliers is paused
- AI content generation, translations and product scoring are paused
- Background syncs (product updates, reviews) are paused
How to reactivate a Space
- 1Open the Subscription page from the dashboard sidebar.
- 2Upgrade to a plan that includes the number of Spaces you need. If you only need to bring one Space back, a single-Space plan is enough.
- 3Complete the payment. Reactivation is instant — the Space goes from deactivated to active in a few seconds and the warning banner disappears.
- 4Verify by reloading the dashboard. The 'Deactivated' badge should be gone from the sidebar, the menu items should be clickable again, and the home page should render normally without the overlay.
Tip: reactivation does not require reconnecting suppliers or stores. The existing OAuth tokens are still valid, so as soon as the Space flips back to active, the automation resumes from where it stopped.
